Leg Veins
Sclerotherapy involves injecting a chemical solution directly into the spider vein or thread vein. The solution causes the vein walls to swell, stick together and seal shut, stopping the flow of blood. This method is suitable for the cosmetic veins on the legs and not for the big varicose veins.
